Rehab / t-minus 1 day

The big day is fast approaching….In less than 24-hours I will be at Cassiobury Court. I am packed. Since waking this morning I have had a massive sense of relief, it’s the first time in weeks that I have not felt like my temples want to explode and I must be ready because I cannot wait for tonight to be the last night I take Diazepam..

Please read my previous pre-rehab posts here.

Also – my rehab ‘packing list’ can be found here.

I will be having one last drink with a friend, we bought a nice bottle of Moet to celebrate a new start and the beginning of a new journey.

There is just one more thing left to do, flush the last of the Diazepam I have away. For good,

The last 4-days of my tablets from this week...down to the last pot 🥳

Flushing the last of my Diazepam 👋

To finish off – something I found hilarious and a very good sum up of the experience I have had with the NHS over the past few months. Enjoy the humor of Russell Kane:

I’m not sure when my next post will be, maybe tomorrow if the detox part the rehab doesn’t start too quickly and I’m unable to function, let alone write a post – we’ll see. I will do a detailed post on the medical detox in the coming days either way. To be continued…

Cheers 🥂

    1. Thank you Pam, in the short time we’ve known each other you mean a lot to me. You’re an amazingly genuine and nice person who deserves the best in life. You get out there and sort out your demon(s). I hope we’ll be friends forever.
